Riah Sattar

Riah Sattar is a Partner at Thomas Mansfield Solicitors and leads the firm’s dispute resolution team.

Riah’s work involves resolving disputes involving wills, probate, and trusts. She advises executors, trustees and beneficiaries on contentious private client and probate matters. These cases often involve delicate family dynamics and Riah applies a sensitive and informed approach, considering the personal and often complex nature of these matters.

Riah takes care to understand a client’s objectives before deciding whether the interest of the client is best served through litigation in the Courts or through alternative dispute resolution techniques such as mediation. Her approach is to resolve disputes pragmatically and at an early stage wherever possible.

Riah graduated with LLB (Hons) law degree from City, University of London and completed her Legal Practice Course with a Masters in Law at the University of Law. Riah qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in 2018 and cross qualified as a solicitor in April 2019.

Riah was previously a senior litigation solicitor with a leading UK insurer. She represented them and their clients (companies, partnerships and individuals) on high value and complex disputes.
